חִזָּיוֹןII m. or חֶזְיוֹנָה (v. חֲזָזִית) 1) lichen, moss. B. Mets. 105b ramification ( סוכה) is considered weak, שנחבאת בחֶזְיוֹנָהּ (or בחזיונָה) when it is hidden under (fully covered with) moss.
